EXPLANATION For my investigation I started trying to generate data. I took integers to make 100. For example: 1+99=100, 2+98=100, etc. Until I found integers divisible by 7 and divisible by 11 that make 100. First I started with the positive integers, in the list I found that 56 and 44 gave me 100 and were divisible by 7 and 11. I only found one which x and y are positive.
But when one of the integers is negative I could find more. For example -21 + 121=100.Also when I found the pattern between x positive and x negative it was 11. I put all the x numbers in the list and found the number that was in between that was 11.In positive y and negative y in between they had -7.
